My father has been on CPAP for several years. He has tried many masks unsuccessfully. Some of the masks  he has tried include the Profile Lite, Flexifit 406, Ultra Mirage Nasal, Ultra Mirage full face, Fisher and Paykel full face, Swift, and Comfortfull full face mask. I recently fit him with the Hybrid and he really likes it. Since he has been using it, he has been able to wear it for 7+ hrs. On all of the other masks he has tried, he would make it only 3 hrs. Today, I called one of our non-compliant CPAP patients, and asked him how he was doing on the Hybrid. He stated that it was the best mask that he has ever used. I even wrote up a progress note to give to our physician.
